Rolling Rock has been purchased by Anheuser-Busch. They’ll be moving brewing from Latrobe to New Jersey. It’s a little silly to have PA pride, especially in things like beer, but I’ll admit — I think this is sad.

Could be worse, I guess I thought it said rolling stones are being purchased by anhieser-busch and they are moving to New Jersey…. poor Keith I thought.
Though the weird thing is isn’t the water there in atrobe that is the main reason rollin rock tastes like Rolling Rock.
Next you ‘ll tell me pepsi bought yiengling….
I find this terribly sad. I will surely miss the PA-brewed beer, which as far as American beers go, was not so bad. I doubt the same local flavor will be maintained when Anheuser-Busch takes over.
Do they still make Middlesworth chips in PA? Or is this also among our fading traditions? And will I still be able to get a Yuengling when I go back for a visit?
